2015 1oz Tuvalu Star Trek Enterprise NX-01 .999 Silver Proof Coin

Star Trek: Enterprise is set at the beginning of the Star Trek series timeline and follows the 22nd century adventures of Captain Jonathan Archer aboard the Enterprise NX-01 during the early days of interstellar travel.

The coin is struck from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver in proof quality.

The coin’s reverse portrays a colour image of the Enterprise NX-01 flying over planets, as it appeared in the television series Star Trek: Enterprise.

The design includes the inscription STAR TREK ENTERPRISE ENTERPRISE NX-01, The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark, and the coin’s weight and fineness. The coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu and features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination, and the 2015 year-date on its obverse.

The Perth Mint will release no more than 5,000 of the 2015 Star Trek: Enterprise – Enterprise NX-01 1oz Silver Proof Coin individually, from a maximum mintage of 6,500.

The remaining 1,500 of the mintage are part of the very limited two-coin set, featuring Captain Jonathan Archer 1 oz Silver Proof Coin and Enterprise NX-01 1 oz Silver Proof Coin. The coin is housed in a Star Trek themed case which lights up when the lid is opened, within a Star Trek themed shipper. Each coin is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
