This coin is from a limited quantity of error coins from the popular 2017 Dragon & Phoenix release. The error can be found on the coin’s reverse right behind the head of the phoenix. Instead of being struck with a frosted finish, one area includes a mirrored effect like the rest of its body.
Deeply rooted in Chinese culture, the Dragon and Phoenix are regarded as the most scared animals and were used as emblems of emperors and empress. The Chinese Dragon is traditionally the embodiment of the concept of yang (male) while the Phoenix is yin (female)
