Spider-Man is one of the most well-known superheroes of the Marvel Universe and also one of the most popular superheroes in the world. This silver plated coin was issued by Fiji for the Marvel Light-Ups series. It has a face value of $.50 and Spider-Man's eyes and web actually light up when you press the opposite side of the coin. Mintage will not exceed 50,000 pieces.
Unique Lighted Spider-Man Design
The obverse displays the national seal of Fiji. Two figures are depicted with a large shield here. The face value is at the bottom of the design.
The reverse features the Spider-Man design. Part of this design has been colorized. When the button on the opposite side is pushed, parts of Spider-Man light up.
GEM Brilliant Uncirculated in Original Themed Packaging
This coin is still in its original packaging. It is sealed and the Spider-Man-themed packaging has information about the coin and the superhero. It has not been graded, it is still in GEM Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
