The Royal Canadian Mounted Police, or "Mounties" as they are affectionately known, which is the National symbol of sovereign authority throughout the Great nation of Canada. The role of the Mountie was to patrol the newly acquired North West Territories and maintain law and order. Nowadays, the main task of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police is to ensure the national security of all three territories and eight of the ten provinces.
Features of the coin:
- Each coin contain 2 troy ounce .9999 pure silver.
- Coin's reverse: A Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer sits straddling a horse with a flag. Also, the wording "1920 Canada 2020" shown on the reverse.
- Coin's obverse features the effigy of King George V designed by Sir E. B Mackennal with stunning detail. A Latin inscription rests above the ruler's head, also the coins $10 denominational value shown below.
