The South African Mint released a silver version of the coin for collectors for celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2017. The issue was so popular that it was followed by a bullion release in 2018. Due to its popularity in 2018, the young series enters another year. With this new version, this coin was struck on a 1 oz planchet of .999 fine silver. It will arrive in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
