Proof Quality 99.9% Pure Silver
Each coin is meticulously struck from 99.9% pure silver in proof quality. The 2015 silver releases are available as individual 1oz and 1/2oz coins.
2015 Year of the Goat Design in Colour
The reverse of each coin depicts a family of three coloured goats standing in a stylised rural scene. The Chinese character for goat and the inscription Year of the Goat also appear in the design, with The Perth Mints traditional P mintmark.
Australian Legal Tender
Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2015 year-date, and the monetary denomination are shown on each coins obverse.
Limited Mintages
The Year of the Goat 1oz Silver Proof Coloured Edition has an issue limit of 9,000 from a maximum mintage of 10,000, while the 1/2oz has a maximum mintage of 10,000.

Each coin is housed in a stylish red and black display case and illustrated lunar-themed shipper, and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
