In each box is an inscription about the bar details, one notes the metal, "AU," another the purity, "999.9," and the last the weight, "1 OZ FINE GOLD." Below the boxes is the bar's unique serial number.
• The reverse features a repeating pattern of a mother elephant and her calf. The pattern alternates, with the elephants walking left on one line and right on the next. The genus of the elephant depicted, "LOXODONTA," is inscribed at the bottom of this face.
