Royal Mint is introducing a new series that paying tribute to the artists and bands whose sound, attitudes and looks came to define each passing decade. The first coin issue in the series will feature one of the most iconic rock bands of all time - Queen.

Queen formed in London in the early 1970s. Queen augmented their hard rock sound with pop sensibilities, redefining the genre and elevating it to another level.

• Each coin contain 1 troy ounce .999 pure silver
• The first coin issue in the new series - Music Legends
• Limited mintage: No more than 25,000 pieces will be available
• Coin's design: Features different musical instruments to symbolize the contribution of each band member. Piano & Microphone (Freddie Mercury), Guitar (Brian May), Bass Drum (Roger Taylar) and Guitar (John Deacon)
