The "African Ounce" is a silver coin issued yearly with a changing design presenting African Wildlife. The series began in 2008 and its popularity is due to the great designs which change yearly and a limited mintage.

The 2020 design features the BushBaby on the reverse in front of a topographic map of the African continent.

The obverse carries the same design as previous years of the National Seal of Rwanda.
