The reverse of the coin portrays Australian troops climbing the mountainous jungle track, the coin’s artistry includes a symbolic flaming torch. As well as the inscriptions ‘25 APRIL’ and ‘LEST WEFORGET’, the design also incorporates The Perth Mint’s historic ‘P’ mintmark.

The Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination, and the 2022 year-date are shown on the coin’s obverse.
