"New Year" means celebrating the arrival of the new year. In China, new year refers to the Chinese New Year of the Chinese lunar calendar. Chinese Lunar Year is China's most grand traditional festival, and it is also a festival that symbolizes unity, prosperity and new hope for the future.

In 2015, the People's Bank of China introduced the Lunar New Year Coin and became one of the popular coins for coin collectors and investors. Now People's Bank of China is launching the 5th series for Lunar New Year Coins on 2020.
