Who can buy from LPM?

Anyone can buy from LPM. Our clients consist of Collectors, Dealers, Accumulators, Banks, Brokerage Houses, Investors and Speculators. Whether you want to purchase large quantities or individual items, we can fulfil all of your needs.

How do I open an account?

Fill the account opening form here and send a copy of your ID to sales@lpm.hk

Does it cost anything to open an account with LPM?

No, opening an account is free of charge.

How can I lock in prices?

The price can be locked by securing with a 10% credit card authorization. This is just a block on 10% of the value of your order onto your credit card, this amount isnt charged to your card, it is just used as security by us to fix the price. Full payment will be required within 3 business days after fixing the price. After which, your credit card authorization will be removed. 

Can I pick up my order from LPM?

Yes you can. When you check out, you will have the option to pick up your order from our office. You have 10 business days to collect your order. After which, you will be charged $50 HKD per day for late a pick up.

Is there a fee for bank wires?

There is no fee charged by LPM for paying by wire, however, any fees charged by banks are the customer’s responsibility. To avoid delays, please call email sales@lpm.hk as soon as any bank transfer is made.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes we accept credit cards. The maximum charge for charge credit card transactions is $60,000HKD or USD equivalent.

How quickly will you need my payment?

Once the deposit is paid and a price is locked in, the payment will need to be received within three business days. LPM reserves the right to cancel orders that do not meet this requirement. We recommend completing your payment the same day your order is placed to be sure your payment is received on time.

What happens if my payment isn't received within the applicable time period?

It's always best to send us your payment immediately to ensure LPM can honour the confirmed price. If payment is not received within 3 business days LPM reserves the right to either, accept your payment, refuse and cancel your order, or provide a fresh quote based on the market price at the time we received payment. If you are unable to make payment within the 3 business days because of any delays please contact us. 

Do you have quantity discounts?

Yes. Our prices have already been calculated for high volume wholesale orders and we have discount tiers for most products. 

Can I cancel my order?

Due to the constantly changing market, should you cancel an order or fail to pay for an order in full, you will forfeit the 10% deposit, plus applicable market loss. You are not entitled to any market gain in relation to a cancelled order.

Do you have a holding period for Bank Cheques and Bank Drafts?

Yes, we will not release your order till 5 business days after finds have cleared. This is to reduce LPM’s risk of potential fraudulent activity.

Do you offer Pooled Accounts?

We do not currently offer pooled accounts but will in the near future. If you would like to trade with a Pooled Account please register your interests with LPM at sales@lpm.hk

Selling to us

Do you buy back coins or bullion?

Yes we do! Please refer to our buy pack page for live prices. If your product is not listed on our buy back page please contact us for a quote. Please note that our buy back prices listed on the website are only for products sold by us and in the same condition. Products sold elsewhere or damaged/marked coins will be bought back at a different rate, determined when the coins are inspected.

What is the procedure to sell back products bought elsewhere?

Please email us at sales@lpm.hk with photos and details of the products and we will give you an indication of price.

How will I be paid?

Payments for buy backs will be made by cheque or by bank transfer. A $100 USD administrative surcharge applies if you require to be paid by bank transfer. There is no fee for a cheque payment.


What currencies do you accept?

We accept Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) and US Dollars (USD). If making a cash transaction in our showroom, only HKD are accepted.

Is there a discount for cash?

Yes, cash discounts are represented next to each product.

If you pay for Orders by bank wire, Hong Kong Bank Cheque or Cash (HKD only), we provide a 5% cash discount off our list price. The prices shown for each product on the website reflect the 5% cash discount. The price is higher if you choose and we approve credit card payment.

How do I know if you have received my wire?

Once a wire is received we will send you a payment confirmation. If a wire is sent near the end of bank hours for that day it may not show up at LPM until the next day. Please ensure that you reference your last 4 digitis of your invoice number as the message to recipient when sending the wire for faster payment processing. 

What forms of payment does LPM accept?

LPM accepts USD and HKD. Depending upon the order amount, you may pay by some or all of the following payment methods: Credit Card, PayPal, Bank Wire, Hong Kong Bank Cheque or Cash (HKD only).

Apart from shipping and the listed price, are there any additional fees?

We do not charge any broker or commission fees. All of our employees are salary-based and do not work on commission. We do this to ensure personalized attention to every order, no matter how large or small.

Do you accept Cheques for payment?

We do not accept personal cheques. We do, however, accept Hong Kong Bank Cheques or bank drafts.


Is my package insured while in transit?

Regardless of shipping method, LPM fully insures all of its shipments. Should anything happen while your package is in transit to you, it will be covered by our insurance policy. However, we will not accept responsibility if you have left instructions with any carriers or delivery service to leave parcels un-attended for you without the need for a signature. Or, you have given them instructions to leave your package with someone else such as a building manager, neighbour, drop-off location such as Mail Boxes etc., The UPS Store, etc., YOUR PACKAGE WILL NOT BE COVERED. When we ship to you, if metals are lost or damaged in transit, it is our responsibility to pursue any claim with the insurance company. If we determine the package is lost or damaged, we file a claim. Once the claim is filed, we reserve the right to re-ship your items or refund your money at our discretion.

Do you ship locally in Hong Kong?

Yes, we ship locally in Hong Kong. Collectible orders will be shipped by Speed Post. Bullion orders require to be shipping using armed services. Please contact us at sales@lpm.hk for a bullion shipping quote.

Will I have to pay duties or taxes when I receive my order?

There are no taxes or duties in Hong Kong.

Please consult your local customs broker for more information on duty and tax rates for your country. We are not responsible for overseas taxes or duties relating to your order.

How do you wrap your packages?

All our packages are carefully and discretely wrapped, typically in brown tape and not to give any indication as to the contents inside. We also use the acronym "LPM" for our shipping address as well.

What happens if I refuse delivery or I am un-available to accept my LPM shipment?

If your order is returned to LPM due to: your refusal to pay duties or taxes, or if the carrier (example FedEx or UPS) was unable to deliver your order, you will be responsible for any return shipping fees, additional duties, or applicable taxes for returning the package back to LPM. In addition, if your package is returned to LPM, we will not reship your order until we are paid in full for any return shipping costs, duties, taxes we have had to pay or advance for you as well as any subsequent re-ship fees back to you. International returns are a very costly problem and we STRONGLY suggest making yourself aware of any duties or taxes before packages are shipped to avoid surprises. In addition, we STRONGLY suggest making yourself available to the delivery company so your package is not returned to LPM subjecting yourself to unnecessary taxes, duties, shipping costs or delays. These delays for re-ships could take 4-6 weeks or longer complete when packages are not received as they should. How long will it take to get my package?

Packages sent registered and insured mail can take on average 5-10 business days.


How do I know that my products are genuine?

LPM is a direct distributor for most of the major mints around the world, most of our products are sourced directly from these mint and are brand new in mint packaging. For any products which we have sourced through our network of dealers, each item goes through detailed inspections and tests to ensure the highest quality and authentication.

Do I need to make an appointment?

Due to our strict security protocols it would be ideal to organize an appointment prior to arrival. Please ensure you bring photo identification.

Do I have to work with the same Trader?

We love for our traders to build a one-on-one relationship with our customers; however, every trader in the office is capable of helping any of our customers.

Do you charge sales tax on coins?

No, there is no sales tax charged on coins.

Do you report my transactions?

We will not disclose your personally identifiable information to law enforcement, other government officials, or third parties without a court order, subpoena, court order or similar legal procedure, except when we believe in good faith that the disclosed information is necessary to prevent financial loss, report suspected illegal activity or as required by law.

What happens if I decide to cancel an order?

What if I want to return my gold or silver?

Because of market fluctuations in both gold and silver markets there will be NO returns on gold or silver. All bullion sales are final! For more information regarding our return policy, please view our policy page. We do offer a buy back service. Please refer to the buy back page on our website.

Can LPM store my precious metals for me?

Yes, LPM has storage options available. Please click in the Storage tab for more information.

Is my personal and financial information secure?

Yes, we have ensured that your information is secure by using SSL web pages. SSL is an acronym for Secure Sockets Layer, an encryption technology that was created by Netscape. SSL creates an encrypted connection between your browser and our server, allowing for private information to be transmitted without the problems of eavesdropping, data tampering, or message forgery.
