Royal Mint is introducing a new series which pays tribute to the artists and bands whose sounds, attitudes and looks came to define each passing decade. The first coin issue in the series will feature one of the most iconic rock bands of all time -Queen.

Queen formed in London in the early 1970s. Queen augmented their hard rock sound with pop sensibilities, redefining the genre and elevating it to another level.
